Manzanillo - Right Now!

Located 61 miles from the state capitol of Colima, Manzanillo lies along the western pacific coast of Mexico. Twin bays, Santiago Bay and Manzanillo Bay, divided by the Santiago Peninsula, form her coastline creating a double crescent of beautiful beaches bordered by tropical growth. The year-round temperature averages between 78-82º F. or 15-30ºC. and in winter, skies are consistently clear.

From September to June, your only concern should be your sun-tanning lotion.

During the summer's rainy season, rivers and lagoons swell, forming waterfalls and ponds. White herons and pink flamingos flock to the fertile waters of Laguna de San Pedrito and white butterflies flutter above the flowers in the chamomile fields. For sure that is what Cortes saw when he named the port Manzanillo -chamomile in Spanish.

From November to January you may need a sweater or jacket during your late evening strolls.
